Mary Sharp

American author. Born 1938? According to the blurb on the back of her books she was born in Oxford, but now lives in Cornwall, where she runs a small sailing school and lives a life of self-sufficiency in a secluded home by the river Fowey. She appears to have written only the two pony books, which is a pity as they are good traditional type stories.

Collectors Info:
Both are paperbacks in the J A Allen Equestrian Library series and were not reprinted. Although not as common as many modern pony books they can be found fairly cheaply on internet bookshops in the UK. A bit rarer in the USA but not impossible to find by any means and usually cheap. May be hard to find elsewhere.
